Turn your Interactive Brokers statement into a ready-to-review Schedule FA (Foreign Assets) report for the Indian ITR — with SBI TT buying-rate conversion, peak/closing/initial values per security, and a full audit trail. Free, and your statement never leaves your browser.
Privacy: your IBKR statement is processed entirely in
your browser and is never uploaded anywhere. Only ticker symbols are sent out, to fetch
public exchange rates and prices.
Not tax advice. The output is a working draft to verify (ideally with a CA)
before filing.
Schedule FA (Foreign Assets) is the part of the Indian income tax return where a resident discloses foreign assets — including shares and ETFs held in a foreign broker account such as Interactive Brokers. Crucially, it is reported on the calendar year (1 Jan – 31 Dec), not the April–March financial year, which is the single most common mistake.
The SBI TT buying rate (TTBR) for the relevant valuation date. If no rate was published that day — a weekend, a holiday, or a gap in the data — the nearest preceding published day is used. The report shows the source amount, the rate applied, and the exact rate date behind every figure, so each number can be checked.
The peak is the hardest figure in Schedule FA. With daily prices available, the tool reconstructs your daily share count from your trades, values it against each day's closing price and that day's TTBR, and takes the maximum in rupees — because the rupee can move independently of the share price. Without daily prices it falls back to an approximate peak from trade dates and the year-end close, and marks the figure as approximate.
No. The Flex statement is parsed and every figure computed inside your browser. Only ticker symbols are sent to the server, to fetch public exchange rates and share prices. Nothing about your holdings, account number or address is stored or transmitted.
Table A2 (the custodial account) and Table A3 (one row per security held at any time in the year), with initial, peak, closing, dividend and sale-proceeds values in INR. Download it as a printable HTML report (Print → Save as PDF), a CSV for transcribing into the ITR utility, or Markdown and JSON. Rows with missing data are flagged for manual review rather than guessed.
